1. Who are we?
We are ‘Peterborough Community Radio ltd’ a not for profit community radio media company which operates from our studios at The Herlington Centre, Orton Malborne, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire PE2 5PW. We broadcast an FM station across Peterborough on 103.2mhz which is also broadcast as a digital stream on the internet. Our organisation also runs a second internet station called PCRextra which is used for training and general broadcasting. The stations use websites, social media and occasionally internet TV casting to aid our broadcasting.
This Privacy Statement explains how we collect and use information about you when you interact with our radio, digital streams and websites. This could be through smart speakers, radio, phone or laptop when you enter one of our competitions or when you engage or interact with our presenters, charity activities, or sales teams.
Any personal information that you provide to us may be shared across our stations and may be used in the ways described in this Privacy Statement.

2. Ways that we collect information
Some areas of the site allow you to actively submit information in order for you to benefit from specific features (such as our online poll or competitions to contacting the studio). You will be informed at each information collection point what information is required and what information is optional. We only collect such information when you choose to supply it to us. 9. How long do we keep your information for?
We will only keep your information for the minimum amount of time necessary – for example, we will keep your information for three months if you enter a competition or up to 13 months if you call into one our radio shows. After this time, it will be deleted or destroyed.

We have a legal duty to protect the confidentiality of personal information. We take all reasonable steps to protect any information you submit via our website, both online and offline, in accordance with legislation such as the Data Protection Act 2018.
We take all appropriate steps to protect your personally identifiable information as you transmit your information from your computer to our site and to protect such information for loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We operate strict security standards to prevent any unauthorised access to it.
